David Dunlap Observatory

As I mentioned on April 2nd, the University of Toronto is currently planning on selling the David Dunlap Observatory - Canada's largest optical telescope - and surrounding area, which is due to the necessity of maintaining dark skies for the telescope, is a wildlife reserve. This decision, not surprisingly, has generated a fair bit of controversy. I recently received some more information on the issue from people opposed to the sale, which you can read about here and here.
