Solar Eclipse this Friday

This Friday, beginning at 5:20 AM the Moon will pass in front of the Sun producing a solar eclipse which can be seen from arctic Canada through Greenland, Siberia, and Mongolia, and China. The partial solar eclipse will be visible from almost all of Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia and a corner of North America. A friend of mine is eclipse-hunting in China. His writing about this in his blog. Being him a photographer he might post some pictures ... if clouds will not engulf western China.
